I feel like I just died and went to heaven. <3
TONIGHT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!
Okay, so Michelle took me there at 6 PM. We hung out. The bands didn't start playing until like, 8 or so. But anyways, when the first band [Mi Captian] was still setting up, I saw one of the band members from My Farewell walk by. So I raise up my sign and he walks over. My heart started beating soooooo fast. Like, no joke. And then he goes "Whoa! This is awesome! Did you do this?" Chyea. 8D "It's like, amazing!" It took me 3 days to make. xD "Really? No wonder it looks perfect!" Thanks! (: Now my black pencil is like, the size of my pinky. "Whoa! -calls over random people- HEY, LOOK WHAT ONE OF OUR FANS MADE US!" So yeah. Reaaaally amazing. And then he asked if he could take it. Um, DUH. <3 After a few minutes [I guess he went to show the rest of the band members] he came back and told me and Michelle to follow him to the back. Of course, we did. (: So they open up their trailer. Aaand both of us are like wtf. xD But then I see this camcorder being pointed to us and I was like waaaaaaaaitohmygoshhh. They were making a video on the road. (: And they put me and Michelle in it! And then one of the guitarists [the guy from before] told me to pick a spot in their trailer to put my banner. I was really touched by that! Like, whoa. I actually STEPPED FOOT into a band's trailer. I was so happy. Shocked almost. So I put the poster straight in the back so that everytime you open the trailer, the first thing you see is the poster. And then the lead singer taped it up and everyone's like "THAT'S TIGHT! YEAH, THAT'S TIIIGHT!" They're so funny! xD I got like, 5 hugs already by this time. (:
So me and Michelle walk back in and wait for the music to start. When the first band came up, we sat right next to the speakers and really close to the stage. I was surprised there wasn't many people. Probably only 40 or less people came. And then, when they finished, Michelle asks the drummer what he does with his broken drumsticks. "You want them?" Uh, DUHHHH. So he tossed her one and I got one too. And then I asked if he would sign it. He did [I just had to give him my Sharpie. xD] and then he walked off.
The next band that played was Jet Lag Gemini. Really good band. (: I got a high five from the drummer. Haha! Drummers love me. ;D Anyways, they did their thing and then, My Farewell's turn.
I jumped right up to the front. Like, the closest I could possibly be. xD I was so happy. I got to hear them and see them live for the first time! I was extremely excited. And then they finished playing, and the drummer [Alec] walked over to me with one of his drumsticks and he says "You wanna add this to your drumstick collection?" I was like, OHMYGOSH. xD So he signed it and gave it to me, and I got a hug. (: Yayyy. Sweaty, but it was a hug, nonetheless. So I walk over to Donny [bassist] and I asked if they were doing autographs. So he took my skull book and signed it and then gave it to the other members and let them sign. Michelle got them to sign her shoe. xDDD And it was funny because Donny was just holding it when I was looking for my Sharpie and he put it up to his ear and he goes "I can hear the ocean! 8D" And then, he sniffed it. xD I mean like, nose in the shoe sniff. And Michelle's like "I WASHED THEM DAMNIT!" xD So we all got signatures and then we go over to the merch table and Michelle got me a My Farewell red shirt. I was real happy. (: I'm wearing it right now. xD Michelle went outside to ask her dad for money, but when we walked outside, SPLASH. Some mo fo's freakin threw water balloons at us! D: And they had some damn good aim. xD So yeah, I got hit. I dunno if Michelle did. But I know I did. xD Michelle's dad didn't give her money, but I still wanted to get a photo with My Farewell. So we walk back inside [stupid water balloon throwers. D<] and I walk over to Donny and say "SOME MO FO'S SPLASHED US WITH WATER BALLOONS! >[[[" But he explained it was a part of their video on the road and he was like "DON'T HATE! DON'T HATE!" xDDD So I got a photo with them and then Michelle did. Mine's really funny though. xD The drummer was like "HEY HEY LEMME DO THE BACKSTREET BOYS POSE" xDD You'll see what I mean when I upload the picture. (: So then after a few more hugs, we left.
Aaaand then I got home. And typed this really long journal.
